Letter # 1036 Cancer patient in need Letter #1036
I work for St. Joseph Health Regional Cancer Care. I work with some amazing cancer patients each and every day; as do my colleagues. We have several patients that have some real needs. I know that Christmas is over a month away, but some of these needs are more urgent, so I thought I would tell you ahead of time.
Martha is a 47 year old lady who has metastatic breast cancer and is not doing well at all. We are so glad that she is still with us and able to be with her children for as long as she has, after she was diagnosed with a really bad cancer. I am really hoping that we can get her and her children help before Christmas because we are just not sure how long she will be with us.
She has 3 children; ages 11, 16 and 21 years old. It would be great if we could pay her PG&E, some towards her rent and give each children a $100 Target gift cards. Martha would be so grateful to receive help.
Thank you so much Santa for helping me with Martha. She is such a sweet, STRONG lady who has worked so very hard to be here for her children.
