Letter # 1047 Cancer patient in need Letter #1047

Dear Santa,

I work for St. Joseph Health Regional Cancer Care. I work with some amazing cancer patients each and every day; as do my colleagues. We have several patients that have some real needs. I know that Christmas is over a month away, but some of these needs are more urgent, so I thought I would tell you ahead of time.

Juliet is a remarkable and sweet 56 year old lady who is battling metastatic breast cancer that has moved to her bones and lungs. She lives in with her husband in Monte Rio. Her husband has currently been found to have a tumor on his eye, so they are working to figure out his surgery, treatment etc. They struggle a lot to afford heating in their home. Since they have to be home a bit, it really needs to be warm there. I am really hoping that we can pay their PG&E bill and also give them $500 for transportation and food expenses.

Juliet used to come to our evening cancer wellness programs, but no longer has the energy to get out in the evening. She has found a class in Monte Rio, but there is a slight cost so it would be great to have the Visa card offset cost in another place so that she can attend those classes.

Thank you Santa for helping me with Juliet's needs.
