Letter # 1147 Mom overcoming many obstacles needs Christmas help Letter#1147

My name is Patricia and I live in Healdsburg.

I am writing to you today because my family has a problem. My family and I have faced a number of obstacles from being unemployed, no transportation, substance abuse to being homeless. All of which are being addressed and handled accordingly. The car we do have though keeps having mechanical issues.

We are wishing that Secret Santa can help us out by granting this wish. I sometimes have to take public transportation and I have been riding an old bike around. I would love to have my family and I ride bikes together. I remembered how much fun it could be. My oldest is about to graduate highschool and having a computer would be helpful. Or some clothes because I just lost our storage because I couldnt afford it any longer.

If we were able to get this help from Secret Santa it would help. The bikes would help bring the family together and help when we have to take the bus it makes things quicker. A computer would help with my daughter's education. And clothes to help replace what was lost when I lost the storage full of our families clothes.

We are currently staying at the family support center in Santa Rosa. I being the mom just completed a residential program and have been sober for over 3 months. I also recently was hired at Costco. I'm hoping to enroll in college once my housing and transportation is reliable and stable. My children have been through a lot of loss and sadness this past year. I'm hoping to end it on a good note if possible one filled with hope, resilience, faith, and most importantly with Family and Love.

Thank you very much and I wish you the best for the holiday season.

By checking this box you agree to fulfill this wish.
