Letter # 120 Journey Ends fire survivor needs help furnishing apartment and paying rent Letter # 120

I am writing this letter to you on behalf of Christine who lives in Santa Rosa.

I am writing to you today because Christine has a problem. Christine is a fire survivor who lived at Journey's End. She was diagnosed with a very serious cancer just around the time of the fires. She is currently undergoing treatment. Her housing future is uncertain once her insurance money for rent runs out. She is very low income.

I am hoping that Secret Santa can help Christine out by granting this wish.
Christine's first choice is solid wood shelving. Her current apartment has little storage and she uses shelves for linens. Her shelves are pressboard and she is very worried about the effect of the artificial and chemical compounds in this pressboard as her immunity is very low due to her cancer treatment which is expected to continue for another 6-9 months.
A 2nd choice is for a tabletop TV (medium size).
A 3rd choice is help with rent after her insurance funds run out.

If Christine were able to get this help from Secret Santa it would help.
If shelving were provided, she would feel less anxious about environmental risks to her health. If a TV were provided, it would help lessen social isolation and entertain her when she feels particularly low. If help with rent was provided, it would give her more security and peace of mind.

By checking this box you agree to fulfill this wish.
