Letter # 281 Elderly woman asks for new tv and help with bills Letter #281

I am writing this letter to you on behalf of Metha who lives in Santa Rosa.

I am writing to you today because Metha has a problem. Metha is a 79 year-old, somewhat frail woman who was widowed in the past year. Since her husband passed, her income is much lower and doesn't have money for extras or luxuries in her life. Her living room TV suddenly stopped working and she now has only an old bedroom-size TV which is hard for her to see. Her husband had a large medical bill she is paying off over time. Her mobile home carpets and bathroom flooring are in poor condition and need to be repaired or replaced.

I am hoping that Secret Santa can help Metha out by granting this wish. A large screen TV would be the biggest help right now. (not sure exactly what size is best). A second choice would be help to pay down a medical bill which her husband incurred before he passed. A third choice would be help with housing repairs.

If Metha were able to get this help from Secret Santa it would help. A larger screen TV would help keep her engaged and reduce her isolation. It would also make her happy to see the generosity of this community. Help to pay down a medical bill would give her some piece of mind. Attention to her home's stained carpet and bathroom floor would lift her spirits and increase the value of her trailer.

By checking this box you agree to fulfill this wish.
