Letter # 305 Christmas help for family in need Letter#305

My name is Ritta and I live in Santa Rosa.

I am writing to you today because my family has a problem. As of recently, I have seen myself struggling financially due to the fact that I have recently become a single mother and get no financial help from the father. As you may know living in Sonoma county is quite expensive and that is where I see most of my checks going to. All my money has gone to living expenses. Knowing that the holidays are coming up makes me devestated because I know that I do not have the means to provide my family with what they deserve. It makes me feel like I have failed them and I do not want to put them through more stress than what they have already had to go through. That is the reason I am reaching out for help.

We are wishing that Secret Santa can help us out by granting this wish. I just want to start off with anything that my family receives is a blessing and greatly appreciated. As of right now the things that have helped my little sister cope with all the sudden change in our life is releasing her stress by expressing herself through art. She loves painting and drawing and even ventures out to do makeup and fotography. Since we do not have a lot of disposable income it is very hard for me to provide any of that to her. It breaks my heart because I know that is her passion and I can not support her by buying simple tools that she needs to grow in those fields. As for my son, clothes are always helpful as well as toys because I have noticed that he gets quite sad when he sees other kids having roomfulls of toys when he has his same little old cars. Knowing that he can’t have the latest movie cars and that he asks for them at stores and I have to put them back is the worst feeling.

If we were able to get this help from Secret Santa it would help. For my sister it would help her thrive in whatever she chooses to do as a career. I know that practice is important and I would love for her to have tools to grow in the field that she lives most. I believe in her talent and I believe that if she had the proper things she would easily succeed. As for my son, I know that little things like this would keep him distracted from the fact that his dad is not in his life and make him not realize how many hardships we are going through at the moment. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Thank you very much and I wish you the best for the holiday season.

By checking this box you agree to fulfill this wish.
