Letter # 373 Father asks for help with bills Letter#373

My name is Miguel and I live in Santa Rosa.

I am writing to you today because my family has a problem.

Dear Santa,

I have been working for Catholic Charities for the past six years now in Santa Rosa, CA. My family has been living paycheck-to-paycheck, paying-off our monthly rent, and household bills. My daughter and I live alone and she suffers from a genetic disorder called Xq28. She has severe developmental delays and has poor fine motor skills. It has been extremely hard for our family because we constantly take-care of her daily needs. (It's hard for her to bathe, brush her teeth, get dressed, and eat on her own.
As of November 1st 2018, I have been put-on temporary leave, due to work-related stress, and anxiety. I have enrolled myself at Kaiser Permanente's I.O.P Program and getting the help I need to return to work. Unfortunately, we aren't making any income at this moment, and I'm waiting to hear back from the Social Security Disability. On-top of that, we have a lot of Kaiser medical bills, that are piling-up, because of emergency room visits, medications, doctor visits, and therapy. We are doing everything that we can to hold-on this winter. Any help would be greatly appreciated this holiday season and we thank you for your time.

We are wishing that Secret Santa can help us out by granting this wish. We would appreciate these items:

Clothing, underwear, bras, socks, sweaters and jackets. We could use a dish set, cooking pans, and baking sheets.

If we were able to get this help from Secret Santa it would help. These items would give us comfort, while we attend school, and daily activities. It would help-us cook and stay healthy.

Thank you very much and I wish you the best for the holiday season.
