Letter # 538 Mother with cancer needs car repairs Letter #538

I am writing this letter to you on behalf of Denise who lives in Santa Rosa.

I am writing to you today because Denise has a problem. We are a non-profit preschool program in Santa Rosa working with a family who is in dire need. They have a son who is four years old and is enrolled in our preschool program that offers subsidized services for low-income qualifying families in the Santa Rosa area. Denise, is a mother of two who has been diagnosed with cancer. She has been receiving chemotherapy and radiation for a couple of months. She has lost all of her hair , yet still makes sure to bring her son to preschool everyday. Denise and her partner, Jeffrey, are currently both on disability. Jeffrey has back problems and chronic pain. He is unable to stand for a long amount of time which makes it very difficult for him to find work. The money they receive from disability does not provide them with enough money to live off of.

I am hoping that Secret Santa can help Denise out by granting this wish. Currently, they are having a difficult time with transportation. They want to get their son to school but their car sometimes does not work (the transmission is malfunctioning). They need a reliable car so that they can get their two children to school and Denise to her doctor appointments. They also need help covering rent because they are having to use a lot of their money on transportation.

If Denise and her family were able to get this help from Secret Santa it would be life-altering. These gifts would ensure that their children have a safe and reliable mode of transportation to and from school. It would take a large burden off of this family, whom is already struggling to get past this rough patch in their lives. This gift would help the family stay safe, secure, and at peace!

By checking this box you agree to fulfill this wish.
