Letter # 964 Cancer patient in need Letter #964

Dear Santa,

I work for St. Joseph Health Regional Cancer Care. I work with some amazing cancer patients each and every day; as do my colleagues. We have several patients that have some real needs. I know that Christmas is over a month away, but some of these needs are more urgent, so I thought I would tell you ahead of time.

Joseph is a 37 year old man with just a tragic, tragic story that breaks our hearts. He found out this year that he has metastatic colon cancer. Joseph found this out when his wife was giving birth to their second son. Their first son is only 2 1/2 yrs. old. Their whole world changed and shortly after his diagnosis and the birth of his son, his wife died. We are all just devastated for the man and his family. He is not doing well and will not survive much longer. His heart is broken with all that has taken place. He continues his cancer treatment and tries to make the most of each day with his children and with the support of his parents etc.

He really needs financial help in the form of some rent being paid, utilities; a Visa gift card would be a great way to support many needs.
If we could give pray for a miracle, give him and his girls $500 + in the form of Visa cards, that would be so very helpful. He has also found that Target gift cards meet a lot of his needs in one place and therefore save time and energy.

Thank you so much Santa for hearing this story and working to help Joseph.
Most sincerely,
Sharon
