Letter # 6821 Letter#6821 Niece with amputation in need of basics for mobility.

Dear Secret Santa,

I am writing on behalf of my niece, who has recently faced significant medical challenges, including the amputation of her leg due to an infection. While she has a prosthetic leg, she is still unable to stand or walk long distances. She lives in a two-story apartment with her elderly uncle, who is also in poor health. Despite her circumstances, she was denied permanent disability and has limited income.

To make daily life a bit easier, my niece is in need of a few key items. A stool or small chair near the stove would allow her to sit while cooking, as she currently waits on the stairs, which are a distance away. She also needs a sturdy shower chair, as her previous one broke from frequent use by both her and her uncle. A bath chair that can hold 250-300 pounds and is appropriate for her apartment-sized tub would greatly improve her ability to bathe independently.

Any assistance in providing these items would be an immense blessing and would make a world of difference to her and her uncle. If purchasing the items is not possible, a gift card to a store that sells them would also be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for considering this request, and for making a positive impact this holiday season. Merry Christmas to you and all the special helpers!
