Letter # 6827 Letter #6827 Lonely, longterm care resident wants some help

Dear Secret Santa,

Hello, I am currently recovering from a total hip replacement and living in a long-term care facility. While I am grateful for the care I’m receiving, I find myself feeling saddened as Christmas approaches. I will be away from my family during the holiday season, and it’s difficult to be away from loved ones at this time.

I enjoy shopping for personal items, but due to my limited income, I am unable to do so as much as I would like. This holiday season, it would truly brighten my spirits to receive a gift card from Target. Being able to purchase a few items for myself would help me feel more connected and less isolated while I’m here. It would also give me a sense of independence and make me feel blessed during a time that can otherwise feel lonely.

Thank you for considering my request. Your generosity would make a big difference in my holiday season and help me feel less alone. I deeply appreciate this opportunity to make my Christmas special.

Sincerely,
A believer
