I am writing today on behalf of a dear friend who is going through an incredibly difficult time. She is a low-income senior who has recently been diagnosed with cancer. In response to her health challenges, her son and granddaughter have moved in to care for her during this tough period. Together, they are managing frequent medical appointments and the emotional and financial burden of this diagnosis.
We are hoping that Secret Santa might be able to help ease some of the stresses this family is facing. A small act of kindness could make a world of difference for them. The family would greatly benefit from a dinner out to help lift their spirits.
