Dear Secret Santa,
I’m reaching out about a local Veteran who is having a particularly difficult year. This Veteran has worked incredibly hard to create stability in life, but continues to face the lasting trauma from their time in the military. Unfortunately, the challenges they live with have made it impossible to work, leaving their resources extremely limited.
Currently, this Veteran has no income and is unable to buy the essentials they need, including new clothes. This holiday season, they are hoping that Secret Santa might be able to help with a few items to bring comfort and dignity. A new set of clothes and a pair of shoes would help them feel more confident and prepared for the winter months. They’ve expressed that they would love their outward appearance to reflect the healing and peace they’ve been working so hard to cultivate inside.
A gift card to a local store would be a wonderful and practical gift, allowing them to pick out what they truly need. Your generosity would make a world of difference.
