Dear Santa,
I hope this letter finds you well. I’m writing to share the story of a family who recently fled the violence and dangers of cartel activity in their home country and relocated to Sonoma County in search of safety and a better life. While they are deeply grateful for the chance to start fresh, the high cost of living in Sonoma has created significant hardships for them.
For a time, the entire family was living in a single bedroom, with the parents sleeping on the floor to ensure their children had a bed to rest in. Although they’ve recently found a new place to live, they still face many challenges as they work to turn it into a home.
As the cold weather sets in, their top priority is to secure warm clothing for the children. They are also in urgent need of basic household essentials, including a twin-sized bed, blankets, and pillows to ensure the children have a comfortable place to sleep.
In addition, the family is struggling to meet other basic needs. The parents would be deeply grateful for help with necessities like toilet paper, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, feminine hygiene products, paper towels, and bath and hand towels. These items would relieve much of their daily stress, allowing them to focus on building a stable and nurturing home for their children.
Thank you for taking the time to read about their situation and for considering how you can help.
